ABSTRACT
A review is presented about some police training experiences in gender and human rights based on some texts and narratives of police trainers in the Argentine Republic. It aims to highlight the process of resignification of police work in this country considering the historical context of these efforts since its democratization after the dictatorship and until the presidency of Cristina Kitchner. The text was made taking texts and newspaper articles documenting the events described, which is complemented by the narratives of some women who have participated in these formative processes, all this as a way of learning from Argentina's experience for a future reflection about its applicability to the Mexican case.
